My Approach
I believe that curiosity and humility about our role in systems of oppression, in our relationships to ourselves, and in our relationships to each other are some of the most important skills we can learn. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to be kept company in the hard parts of being a person. I am an abolitionist and I primarily use systemic, person-centred/humanistic, somatic, solutions-focused, and feminist therapies.
Training
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC, member #11241795). I graduated from Athabasca University’s Master of Counselling program in 2022 and I completed a 400-hour practicum at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton. I have completed advanced level training in Somatic Experiencing. As a new practitioner, I am committed to ethical growth and receive regular supervision from a Registered Psychologist.
